everything changed.

time stalled

the river turned course

the diagnosis was confirmed

just like that, 

everything that could, 

changed


Just like that in a whimsical moment

everything changed

lightening struck, thunder clapped

their eyes met!

just like that, in a beautiful moment

everything that could,

changed


Just like that, in an helpless moment

everything changed

the ground convulsed, vaccum surged through her heart

the downdraft wailed

in her powerless arms, his bloodied body, lost it’s breath

just like that 

everything that could..

changed!


Just like that in a delirious moment

everything changed

the Skies rained joy

the Universe conspired

the baby yelped, his first little cry

just like that, for her, 

everything that could,

changed


just like that

Tear

There is a tear in my heart, and a tear in my eye when you step away and I am no longer by your side there is too much that I feel, if only I could cry but the lump in my throat just sits there all the while the tear in my heart and the tear in my eye they are friends in my loneliness, they know not to leave my side we love our joy for sure, love our pain too they both do arise from recesses deep inside what can be more us, that the feelings that we feel if the tear slides away, what is left is vacant hide there is a tear in my heart, and a tear in my eye when you step away and I am no longer by your side
