Beautiful, Mad, Nautanki World


A few moments

are all we got

to suffer, rejoice, 

or be distraught

to make 

sense of it or not

in this

beautiful mad nautanki world


to love, hate

to laugh and play

be grateful or 

just whine away

be nourished prosper 

or waste our days

in this beautiful, mad, 

nautanki world


we will never quite know

how we came to be

by luck, providence

design or decree

will never quite know 

is’s purpose for sure

but this much we can agree upon 

that it’s a beautiful, mad, nautanki world


some are running 

and some still

some coasting 

some climbing uphill

some are upset mad or depressed

some happy cheerful as luck would have 

in this beautiful mad nautanki world


there is pain, suffering 

and all the rest

wars and strife 

and endless stress

yet there is mirth and laughter

and babies born

kindness compassion that surround us all

in this beautiful mad nautanki world


we can sip it slowly

or drink it all

in every moment that we got

its madness drive us crazy

or not

or let its beauty shine through us all

this beautiful mad nautanki world


let’s become beautiful people 

more than ever before

be also mad a bit, out of control

create our own little Nautankies 

to behold

and give back to it, in his own coin

to this beautiful mad nautanki world!!

Tear

There is a tear in my heart, and a tear in my eye when you step away and I am no longer by your side there is too much that I feel, if only I could cry but the lump in my throat just sits there all the while the tear in my heart and the tear in my eye they are friends in my loneliness, they know not to leave my side we love our joy for sure, love our pain too they both do arise from recesses deep inside what can be more us, that the feelings that we feel if the tear slides away, what is left is vacant hide there is a tear in my heart, and a tear in my eye when you step away and I am no longer by your side
